Multiple bombing attacks on a NATO oil tanker terminal in Afghanistan's southern province of Kandahar has killed seven people and injured 12 others.
The attacks were launched simultaneously when three bombers blew themselves up in a terminal near the Kandahar airport, where NATO oil tankers were parked late Monday, a Press TV correspondent reported on Tuesday.
Three bombers and four terminal guards, including three Nepalese nationals, were killed and 12 other guards were wounded in the offensive.
The Taliban, however, claim that more people were killed during the bombings.
Violence in Afghanistan has escalated to record high since the US-led invasion of the country began in October 2001.
The Taliban have focused their nearly 10-year battle against the US-led occupation forces on the country's southern provinces of Helmand and Kandahar.
