At least three US-led foreign forces have been killed in two separate roadside bomb attacks in eastern Afghanistan as violence takes momentum against US-led forces in the war-ravaged country.
The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed the killings in a statement, but did not reveal the identity of the victims and the exact location of the attacks, a Press TV correspondent reported Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, a French soldier was shot dead in Afghanistan's eastern Kapisa Province.
Meanwhile, in another incident on the same day, Britain's Ministry of Defense said a bomb attack killed one British soldier in southern Helmand Province.
The security situation remains fragile in war-torn Afghanistan despite the presence of about 150,000 US-led foreign forces.
The increasing number of troop casualties in Afghanistan has caused widespread anger in the US and other NATO member states, undermining public support for the Afghan war.
